On August 30, my husband finally gave in and let me get a miniature schnauzer. I have been wanting one of these adorable puppies forever. You see, he is partial to cockers, and wanted another one. It took a lot of whining and pouting, but I finally won that battle!
We brought him home and bought a bag of the puppy food the breeder had been feeding him. Unfortunately, I emptied the bag into a large container and threw it away.
When we started getting low, I got on the internet, trying so hard to remember what it was, but not wanting to call the breeder and let her know what an airhead I had been.
I saw the Nutro Max Dry Puppy Food, and read the ingredients listed. It sounded like the right one, so I ordered a 17.5 pound bag at $16.00.
When it arrived I also dumped it into our container and fed Sarge some. He loved it!
We also own a one year old cocker, and would be feeding this to him as well. Now, I have to tell you, He has a very sensitive stomach! He can not eat most dog foods with the exception of Iams and Eukanuba.
We gave him some of this food and held our breath. We weren't quite sure what to expect from him. He did not get sick!!
We were surprised and pleased. Both dogs could eat this food with no problems.

As you can see the ingredients are high quality and chock full of vitamins and minerals. They state on the bag that they use no chicken by-products like chicken heads, guts or feet. Yuck!
They use Vitamin E as a natural food preservative rather than a chemical one that could hurt your pet's health.
