This is a good quality answering machine/caller ID unit rolled into one. Best of all, you can't beat the price of $42.95 for all the features that come with it.

First of all, I liked the small, clean look of the machine. It was super easy to hook up, I barely had to read the instructions at all and I was able to set up the outgoing message in minutes. I did spend some time figuring out the caller ID, but caller ID features are new to me. It can store up to 75 of the most recent caller ID names and numbers.

The machine records up to 14 minutes of messages, with a limit of 5 minutes for a single message. The digital sound quality of the playback is good and best of all, you can change the playback speed faster or slower. Neat feature when you're in a hurry and someone is being long-winded. You can check the messages remotely and the machine also functions as a speakerphone.

The only drawback is that you can't play your pre-recorded message back without calling the machine. A small inconvenience when you look at the price and features that come with this answering machine.
