Hidden handling charges...check shopping cart total!

Very disappointed when I went to order contact lens to see that the total price was higher than the sum of the items. I could not figure this out until I went to the help pages and found that lens.com is applying a "temporary handling charge of 6.5%" automatically to orders. This is especially disconcerting as it was not itemized in the shopping cart, nor does it show when doing comparative shopping. This equates to unfair marketing practice in my opinion. Anyone purchasing needs to review their total cost carefully as it is not the sum of the items!
Last year I had a good experience from this store, but will be shopping elsewhere for this year's contact lens order.
