Excellent - best refinance imaginable!

Pros: Deliver what they promise quickly, pleasantly, painlessly.
Cons: Can't think of one. Not one.
The Bottom Line: I highly recommend them as I could not have asked for more. And, no, I haven't been paid to say this.

I was in financial trouble and needed to reduce my monthly debt. I was being ignored by my current lender, and Wells Fargo had just told me they could not beat my current mortgage rate, but would gladly refinance my second mortgage rate along with my credit cards at the rate of 11.3%. I told them I thought that was high but the manager told me that No one in the country would beat that rate in this economy.
Then along came Quicken Loans. I was looking at their website and up popped a live chat line. Before I knew it I was giving information to Brian S who seemed to be offering me a deal far too good to be true. He would combine my first and second mortgages along with my credit cards at a great rate that would reduce my monthly payment by $800 a month!
Brian was very patient with me while I practically accused him of being a scam artist. How could this great of a deal be for real? He convinced me to give Quicken a try and 28 days later I have closed after with no problems whatsoever and am paying $850 less each month.
I must tell you I was worried after applying and then reading Epinions.com. I should not have been. If you have seen these posts and are nervous about contacting Quicken I urge you to read them carefully. In almost every case you will see that there is something the homeowner was expecting, did not understand, or was being ridiculous about that caused the issues that brought on the complaints. Quicken should not be held responsible.
Mortgage banker Brian S. was patient and very knowledgeable. Client Care Specialist Carly V was always pleasant and helpful. I only needed to email once to receive a friendly response, often within minutes. I also received a call every few days to tell me where we were in the process.
Twenty eight days after I first spoke to Brian I closed, and the holdup was mainly because the appraiser could not get out the house as fast as I would have liked. When she did arrive, she was pleasant and thorough as was the notary sent to our home to close.
There are many ways I can give kudos to this wonderful company, including a fabulous user friendly website that explains every step of the process), but what I want to stress the most is that nothing changed along the way. What Brian promised me is what I got. The terms, the rate, the lack of prepayment penalty, all as he quoted. The closing costs were actually several hundred dollars less than quoted, a VERY nice surprise. And everything happened within the time frame they gave me. Carly said the closing would occur three days after the appraisal came in, sure enough it did. When she said my closing checks would arrive on a certain day, there was UPS!
I can say with no reservation that this was THE best experience I have ever had with a lender.
It’s been a month since my closing and I’m still singing Quicken Loan praises to anyone who will listen.
