Poor Response & Customer Satisfaction

After gladly booking my wife's and my trip and taking our credit card info it took at least 4 phone calls, after the amount of time we were told we would receive our documents. Then it took an additional 10 days (2-3 weeks total time). Upon receiving the documents VTG had booked our flight with flight seats not even next to each other. I had to call American and make the changes myself to the tune of $30. Nope, not an apology, excuse or offer of reimbursement from VTG....however the "Customer Service" (note quotations)stated that he would "look into it" and call me back. That was 4 weeks ago and no return phone call yet. I have also emailed him a few times...nope, no response. I took the time to write the CEO of VTG regarding this and a few other issues and received a written response (auto-reply?) that someone from his staff would be incontact with me soon. Well, that was a week ago...no phone call yet, even after I have followed-up with 2-3 notes to him. I am somewhat disillusioned with VTG's customer service after the sale attitude...especially when I learned that I could have booked the same trip, etc. through the same company they booked through...for the same money.
