Preferredphoto.com was, by far, the worst experience ever.
It all started when I decided to buy a Canon SD1100 (bohemian brown). First I found a very good deal on 86photovideo.com, but they didn't have one the color that I wanted. Than, I decided to go with preferredphoto.com After a couple of days, I got an email asking to call them to verify some info. I did. First, they put me on hold for 15 minutes. Than, a guy answered a phone, and verified my order. He was speaking extremely fast (it sounded like he was on crack), than he asked me if I wanted to buy a battery. I was very surprised, because I thought all of the Canon point-and-shoot cameras have batteries. Than he replied that the one it comes with is only 20 minute battery. I asked him again if it was an original Canon battery, he replied that it was a 20 min. battery (not what I asked). I asked the same question again, and got same response. I thought, what a heck, if it's not going to be the original battery, I'll just send it back. Than, he asked me if I need a memory card, I said no, he did not like that, he started lecturing me about batteries, but this is not what I'm concerned about. He asked me, than, why don't I want to get a battery, it sounded like this camera is not going to work without additional battery. I asked him the same question: "Is this an original Canon battery?" to what customer service guy YELED "for the forth time, the battery you have in a camera is 20 min battery". I asked him to cancel my order and call his supervisor... he hung up.
Once again, this is the worst customer service I experienced.
