2004 In Retrospect: dbcint's Write-off

#1: Name one person you met who you met throughout the year that has made a lasting impression on you. Tell us about them.

Marcello the drunken BBQer. He dropped a hot coal on my foot. The scar will never go away.

#2: Was there a TV show you saw for the first time in 2004 – perhaps 2004 was it’s first season – that you now absolutely love?

There is no show that I absolutely love, except The Sopranos. My choices are limited by language. In 2004 I discovered Punk´d and I like it a lot. I like to see celebrities real life reactions. Can be very telling.

#3: Tell us about the best movie you saw last year. It doesn’t have to be one that was released last year, just as long as you saw it for the first time in 2004. If possible, include a link to your review of it.

Meet The Sonofavitches. The sequel to the Fockers. The movie sucked, but Barbra chokes to death on a kosher ham sandwich. What more could a guy ask for.

#4: How about the worst movie you saw last year? Is there one that sticks out a mile – perhaps you wrote a scathing review on it.

Rocky XXII. A geriatric Stallone stands up for America´s honor in a rough and tumble fight for truth, justice and liberty against Michael Moore. Stallone keeps fighting thru Moore´s deceptions only to trip over the capped one´s clown-like tennis shoes (sneakers for you guys in the east). An Oliver Stone production. BTW: Take a look at a recent picture of Stone. He is a Saddam lookalike iffen I ever saw one.

#5: Was there an event that you wish people would just shut up about already?

That whole Ethel Merman fiasco. First of all, I wasn´t masterbating. I had a sever itch. The soiled tissue was from a sinus condition. Enough already.

#6: Was there a worldwide event that left you wondering what the world is coming to?

The armageddon thing had me scratching my head. The brimstone was hell on my sinus condition. I was impressed by the second coming. I haven´t had one of them in 10 years.

#7: Similarly, was there a worldwide event that made you happy?

Rated-R put music to my lyrics. A production that was truly worldwide. Rated-R is trusted by the_carnage from South Africa, crimsonbeast from Canada, charolien from Belgium, and some flake from Chile. They all must of heard it.

#8: What were the best and worst albums you heard last year?

William Hung´s "Hung for the Holidays"

The "Ethel Merman Disco Album" is good, but it brings back the worst memories. Enough, I saidĄ

#9: Which musician / band disappointed you?

"Spaced Out: The Best of Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner"
William truly puts the shat in Shatner
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000089JE/qid=1107279962/sr=2-2/ref=pd_ka_b_2_2/102-7360867-6148157

#10: Are there any writers who were newbies in 2004 that you highly recommend we read?

platonism. Pierre has been here for half a year and has already written 54 outstanding reviews.

#11: What was the most significant event of the year? It could be local, international, or simply personal.

That would either be Michael Jackson producing his own Extreme Makeover show featuring his favorite surgeons, or Martha Stewart´s new Italian cookbook. Her ideal dinner is a sandwich de Boloney, macaroni with creme sauce, accompanied by a chilled mug of late vintage cow extract.
The laqcks in tips because it would violate her agreement. I understand that she does put a lot of stock into the future of a unique new dessert called Jello.

#12: Do you think your life is on the right track for where you want to end up? How did 2004 affect this?

Yup. 2004 brought me one year closer to the grave. I´m banking there will be enough time to come back in my next life as Ethel Merma.... I mean Jennifer Simpson´s bicycle seat.

#13: Was there anything else significant about 2004 you’d like to add?

No, but I assure you that a subtracted much poop.
