San Miguel is One of My Favorite Places Anywhere..... (Reply to this comment)

Mark- San Miguel is one of my favorite places in the world. You have done a terrific job describing the cities of the Bajio. I must put my thoughts down some time, but those trips were some time ago. Thanks again, Tom Barnes

I thought about mentioning Durango, but decided it was a bit too far afield without enough substance for the curious traveler. If I were going even further afield, I might also mention the "ghost town" of Real de Catorce, a bit further north...

Thanks for reading!

Dear Mark: I've seen a little more of these places than Ruby, but not much. Nicely done.

Durango, up in the Sierra Madres Occidentales, remains my favorite Silver Town. It is mostly unspoiled, even though John Wayne made it an International movie location.

Good prospecting.

This certainly was most helpful in my book! I have been to Mexico numerous times, and haven't seen any of this! I think I need to go back very soon, and take this essay with me!

Well done,
Deborah~
