...might be going somewhere that they're building Habitat For Humanity homes and help out there part of the time and taking in the local color when you're not doing your volunteer work.
Or you can add a new twist to a "traditional" spring break activity such as going on a cruise: bringing along water-tight bottles (which you can get at your local pharmacy for an average of around 40 cents, depending on the size).
Put a note inside each one and your e-mail address.
Then, some night, toss them all overboard and see how many end up getting found and responded to.
