Casablanca is a favorite of mine and very quotable, but these were movies I'd never reviewed before that I love. I need to see Princess Bride too. Don't think I've seen it!

*shrug* I think I've seen a write-off like that at one point. It sounds kinda fun though.
A couple of films that really have great quotes would be Casablanca and The Princess Bride. I just saw Casablanca for the first time (aside from TV viewings) and it *really* has some famous quotes and great dialogue. The Princess Bride on the other hand pretty much lives on its dialogue and you can randomly grab nearly any set of lines (just about every line really) and you'd get yourself some unique dialogue. I had fun in a chat room doing just that one time as I watched the show. :)
You've got a few here that I'll have to catch. I've been meaning to see On the Town and I haven't seen about half of your older films.

Thanks! I'll consider adding to it. A write-off? Anyone interested? There was a write-off where one movie with your fav quote was the theme, but there can never be enough, I suppose.

What a grand idea for an Epinion! [Perhaps even a Write-off.]
One suggestion: You might want to identify the characters speaking with the artists playing them. It would add warmth.
Most of your examples are clear enough, but a few (ON THE TOWN, for instance) would gain by knowing who was playing Gaby, etc.
All the best.
