where's my txt messaging?!!!!

Pros: pros? oh yeah, more peak hour minutes
Cons: cust. serv. reaks, bad signal in other places compared to verizon.
The Bottom Line: If you want txt messaging in the bay area, pick cingular. If you want good connection in the bay area, pick verizon wireless. Avoid worldcom before it's too late....

After canvasing from either going through cingular wireless, a t & t wireless or worldcom wireless, my friend who sells cell phones and cell phone providers told me that it's better to get MCI worldcom wireless because of the price and the off-peak minutes. (I'm in the bay area and I already have verizon wireless connection but wanted txt mesaging which wasn't available that time.) I asked him about txt messaging for worldcom wireless, he said that it's available in two months, this was in July. I called worldcom customer service later that month and a rep told me that it's going to be in two months also. Then earlier this week, I called them up again and got a lady customer service rep. Asked me all the questions in the world to make sure it's really me who owns the phone, anyways, I asked her about the txt messaging. She said it's not available still. I told her that I was told by the sales representative (my friend) and one of her peers that it's going to be available in two months and it's almost 3 months already. She said once again, "It's no available yet." I asked her when is it going to be available (with a calm voice) and she said try in another 2 months. Two month??!!! And I started to raise my voice and she began raising her voice too (is that how worldcom customer service deals with their customers?). I wanted to cancel my account but she gave me a, "If you cancel your account you will have to pay $250 to cancel it). And before I ended the conversation she give me another customer service balogna line, "Is there anything else I can help you?" What a nerve. I used to work for a tech support so I know how to treat a customer and the way she treated me is not a good customer service skills. Oh yeah did I told you that I have to wait 10-15 minutes just to get a hold of them.
Another thing that stinks is that it took 2 months for them to bill me so my bills for them was twice as much. When I received my bill, I had two of them with exactly the same letter, anyways, I paid them the next day. Then on the next day I received another one with the same amount of billing. then two days after I received another bill but this time there's no charge at all. What is wrong in this picture? I should have gone with cingular since the only thing I really needed was txt messaging.
