Abandoned by Logitech

Pros:It might work for a few months
Cons:Poor service attitude, poor software support, greedy company
The Bottom Line: Stay away from Logitech unless you expect to throw the product away in a few months
I have a Quickcam VC (bought less than 2 years ago) and when I moved from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 (to avoid the blue screen of death), I found that Logitech provides no driver for this camera for Windows 2000. The website says to contact sales and buy a replacement camera at a discount. I did contact Logitech sales and the offer is to get $10 off a new camera.
Browsing the Logitech site, I found that I could get $10 off even if I did not own a Quickcam VC, so the offer was giving nothing away. Then I found that other merchants were selling Quickcams at prices even lower than $10 off list! Thank you for nothing, Logitech!
Eventually I got it working using a driver created by a disgruntled Logitech customer. If the software fails, Logitech will not support it.
