This is a poem about the struggle one goes through when they are attracted to a friend.

Friends or Lovers
Debra Pace
Captivated by locks
of raven silk.
Lost in the depths
of dark brown seas.
Enchanted by the sound
of whispers on the wind.
Overwhelmed by feelings
of pure desire.
Conflicted by the responsibility
of friendship.
Satisfied by a bond
that leaves a longing for more.

Can you be friends and lovers or is it really a friends or lovers type of situation? I feel that friends and lovers can work, but if not do you lose it all?
