Pros: Styling, convection oven.
Cons: Igniter, circuit board, oven door hinges, fan. Unacceptable build quality.
The Bottom Line: I would not buy another Maytag/Jenn-Air product in this lifetime, nor if I were reincarnated into a Maytag repair man with a line on free parts.

Pros:
Great styling - heating a can of soup on this oven makes you look like a chef.
Convection oven - cooks evenly and quickly, but I had to adjust cooking times and temps for all my recipes to the convection oven.
Cons:
Where to start? I've used at least a dozen different ovens in my life, most of them old and low-end models at rented houses or apartments. This Jenn-Air is without question the poorest quality oven of all. It's only a few years old, and it's ready for the dump:
- Igniter doesn't ignite. Turn on a burner, and the igniter clicks for nearly a minute before flaming. I've tried adjusted the gas/air mix at the burners and cleaning the burner elements, but there's no change. Now I light the burners on this expensive oven with a grill lighter, lol.
- Oven door hinges broken. After a few years, the door became "sticky," hard to move past the first indent for broiling. Soon the hinges totally broke and the door is now stuck partially open. I've used 20 year old ovens (CHEAP ovens w/ brand names you never heard of) that never had any broken hinges. My guess is that Maytag added all the stainless steel styling BS to this model, but didn't bother strengthening the hinges for the extra weight.
- Poor fan design. It's either too weak, or just poorly placed, but whatever it is, if I try grilling something the entire house smells for days. The fan simply isn't powerful enough to make grilling indoors practical. And if it were powerful enough, the airflow would probably make grilling impossible. Bottom line: don't offer a grill option on a stove unless it's got an overhead shroud and fan. This stove's grill is primarily a sales lure.
- Circuit board failed. Twice so far, both times under warranty, but I'm not optimistic about the current one lasting the life of the oven. Does Maytag expect us to buy new circuit boards every couple years for the next 20 years?
All in all, this range/oven is beautifully styled junk. I read a study a while back that found an inverse correlation between kitchen costs and usage, basically it showed that on average, the more expensive a home's kitchen is, the less it gets used. If accurate, then at least most of this stove's owners aren't going to use it much. That's the nicest thing I can say about this overpriced garbage.
