I've been a long time WinAmp fan/user. Sure there are tons of other MP3 players out there, there are tons of different choices for everything in life. But WinAmp really whips that Lamah! With a vast array of skins, plug-ins for groovy 3d-effects while your listening to your mp3s (modern day Lavalamp for the burnouts) and all of its native features which now include a mini-browser. I can connect to my friends computer across the country and play his playlist on my computer. I can right-click on mp3/wav/midi files and either play them right away or if I have one playing queue it to play next. Editing the playlist is easy point and click work. When I play CD's with WinAmp, which I don't do often cause it seems to hog more resources for CD-play than it does for media files, it displays the CD text for Artist, Album and other track info.
For MP3s or other media files that were ripped badly the EQ is awesome.
