I am not one to buy things from TV advertisements, however, the Magic Bullet caught my eye. I purchased this over a year and a half ago and still use it to this day. It has not replaced my blender or food processor, however, for making small portions of something it is perfect.
I first used the Magic Bullet for making baby food. I would steam the fresh vegetables, add a little water, mix it up and serve it from the container it was made in. All pieces are dishwasher safe, so clean up was easy. I highly recommend this product for this use.
I also use the Magic Bullet for making small quantities of dips and spreads, such as hummus and guacamole. It is not worth assembling and cleaning the larger appliances for a small amount, however, the Magic Bullet is perfect for a dip for two. Another great is to scramble eggs. I crack the eggs, through them in and they are scramble in seconds.
However, when it comes to making frozen drinks, I still use the blender. The blades are not strong enough to crush the ice. It also suggests chopping vegetables, however, it doesn't chop them it mushes them.
If you are looking for a product for small tasks and soft foods, the Magic Bullet is great. The base is small and easily stashed away in a cabinet and the canisters and blades can be placed with tupperware. Just be sure to consider your needs before buying this.
