Not perfect, but better than most.

The Bottom Line: A good product, but I will keep searching for a better one.
I have a hard time finding deodorants that work for me. Living in the tropics and having an extremely varied lifestyle - a given day sees me welding, writing, teaching, and playing music - I sweat a LOT! So when I find a deodorant that works, I stick with it.
I was a huge fan of "Secret Unscented" - the white stick one - for years. Then they changed the formula. Instead of the truly unscented product they had formerly produced, suddenly it had a faint but nasty sweet chemical smell, which became simply vile if I wore perfume.
After much trying of many brands, I just used my husband's "Old Spice High Endurance Fresh." Unfortunately, it is so strongly scented that I am unable to wear perfume any time I use it. Thus, though it works, I continue my search for the perfect deodorant.
I really like Secret products as they are among the few which do not cause skin rashes for me. But in general the fragrances they use are not at all appealing to me.
Then I found Secret Platinum French Lavender. It actually has a milder scent (to my nose) than their "unscented!" I still cannot wear perfume with it, but at least I don't smell either like a guy, or like I spend too much time in porta-potties!
Non-irritating, non-flaking, non-staining. These are all good things!
The down sides: 1) It feels a bit like applying a cold slug to your armpits in the morning. 2) After an hour it starts gluing my armpit skin to itself. 3) When I take my evening shower I have to scrub and scrub and scrub to get the wax-like coating off.
Also, the pushy-uppy thing to make it come out of the container does not always work well, so sometimes you have to disassemble the container and put the gel in something else and apply it with your fingers.
