Too true Regina.

There is so much to see, and I spend so much of my time sat in the same four walls! I was destined for a travelling gentleman's life lol

I think you would enjoy Whitby - it's great for photos.

lol! Yes, Mel and I are thinking up some visit choices for our weekend together. There are no shortage of options! We could take you up the steep steps alongside Malham Cove for example...

Thanks for dropping by

Yes, I'm tempted Adrienne.

However, as I'm so close to seeing that nasty man Bush leaving office, I'm going to have to postpone my visit just a while longer ;o)

Heh, black and orange tiger striped hair with a touch of black eyeliner was more my style lol Sadly, I don't have any photos from the era.

Thanks for your comments Barbara - Whitby tends to get missed by the non UK visitor.

Sounds like a really nice place to visit, with a lot of things to do. So much to see in this world...**sigh**

It would be fun to look for fossils, the only one I've ever found was a nautilus shell...

Enjoyed reading about Whitby!

Hmmm. A tough choice.

I'd better get in training for the 199 steps !

Fossils (Reply to this comment)

...Here, houses are piled on top of each other, and the cliffs are great for trying to hunt down dinosaur fossils (I’ve only ever found two, both made out of a very soft muddy rock, meaning they didn’t survive)....

Sounds to me like you need a trip to South Dakota. Sooner or later you're going to have to make an excursion to the U.S. ...Come on. You know you want to....
