An Excellent Way to Buy A Car
My wife and I recently bought a car from carmax using carmax.com. We were looked at several different cars and we finally decided on a Subrau Outback (which is a rare car to find). It was located in Maryland and we are located in South Carolina, so we requested it be transferred from the online link. In less than 1 hour we received a call from our local carmax.
Excellent, pre Car screening
Not only did they pre-screen the car before listing it to be sold. They did a walk around the car and let us know of the body condition and the interior condition. And preceded to fax the information to us. They also faxed us a copy of the Carfax report (which is basically a title search) for free.
After Car Transferred, our experience
The car arrived at our carmax in less than five days. With no obligation to buy we went and looked at the car and test drove it. (We had already got a loan before we arrived. through peoplefirst.com). We decided we wanted the car. They gave us a five day love or leave it unconditional bring back policy and 30 day warranty. After we bought the car they cleaned up some more and filled it up and we were gone.
