The ZERO improvement to the EPA rated economy isn't because the Corolla didn't improve, rather its because the EPA adopted a stricter standard for rating MPG.

I've been *VERY* interested in the new Corolla re-design since I'm thinking of significantly downsizing my gas-sucking SUV when it comes off lease in a few months. The Corolla is near the top of my "must drive" list, and I like what Toyota's done with the styling. I *DO* wish they'd boost the gas mileage and trim some of the fat off their curb weight --- there's ZERO improvement on the EPA numbers between the new '09 and last years model...

Thanks for the checking it out. You are correct that there was no 2009 in the list.
Those lists are outdated anyways. For computers, they low-ball the memory, hard drive, and CPU speed - all computers now-a-days have higher specs than what's on the list, so everyone constantly pick "other" or "xxx or higher".
I wonder how many people just followed and rated Off Topic just because you did. It is frustrating, but we'll live.

I checked and it is impossible to put year 09 in the bottom, so I'm switching my rating to VH, which this review obviously is. Sorry I didn't think of that earlier, but I did look into it, and it only goes up to 08. Considering how long Epinions is taking lately to fix issues on site, and along with the high quality of this review, I am glad to rate this VH.

Nad, scroll to the bottom of your review. Right at the very bottom, it says that the model year is a 2008. That's the year that you selected from a drop-down box, so either you accidentally selected the wrong year or there was no choice for 2009. I'll go check in a moment.
In the meantime, you clearly have this review in the 2009 listing and it clearly has the content for a VH rating, so I'm rating VH. Thanks!

Let me do a check on this. You see how it says 09 up top, and then 08 down at the bottom?
I'll get back to you. Epinions has been acting screwy lately, and I had another review disappear today.

Gosh I hate having to do this, considering you are an excellent writer, and this review is just so darn good. Under the year at the bottom it says 2008, and this is a 09 model. Could you switch this out and let me know so I can rate it VH?
I know site rules are a pain, but I have to keep the years matching,
