Do not buy anything from them! They charged my credit card, but recalled the product while it was in transit with FedEx. No one notified me even though they had all my contact information - including my cell phone number. This could cost me a job.
I ordered Office 2003 for a specific project that begins on 05/12/08. One of the most important reasons I choose softwaremedia.com is because the software would be delivered no later than 05/12/08. However, they charged me, but took the product back before I even got it.
According to the FedEx website, my credit card company, and conversations with FedEx staff, this is what happened.
05/0708 Product shipped and my credit card was charged
05/09/08 7:46 am - Product was in my hometown and scheduled for delivery
05/09/08 8:40 am - Softwaremedia.com called FedEx and told them to return the product to softwaremedia.com
05/10/08 I checked the order tracking, contacted FedEx and learned that I am not getting my product
05/10/08 I called my credit card company and learned the charge has not been removed. We have launched an investigation
This company put me in an awful position. Not only have I been ripped off, but I do not have the required software needed for the job that begins 5/12/08. I have about day to find it elsewhere AND have it on my computer.
