Pros:Easy to use, blends evenly, easy to clean

Cons:A little loud, but I suppose all blenders are

The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone! It's very family-friendly, since older children can learn how to use it (with supervision), and is very easy to clean up and put away.

After our old blender started leaking, we decided it was probably time to buy a new one... or clean up milkshake messes off the counter every time we used it. I decided a new one was more important, so my husband actually went and picked this one out himself. I was happy that it was glass, not plastic like our old one. The glass seems easier to clean, holds up better, and doesn't scratch. The 10 speeds are plenty for basic blending needs, including making fruit and yogurt smoothies, milkshakes, AND baby food! I was amazed at how well it pureed food for my son's baby food. No need to buy an expensive baby food processor, this was perfect! Also, this blender is easy to take apart and put together. After we're done using it, I unplug it first, take off the main glass jar, pop off the lid(which separates into 2 pieces), unscrew the bottom ring and blade and place everything (but the base) into the dishwasher. The base is easy to wipe down, and hardly gets dirty anyway. I do have to say, that the lid started to warp just slightly after going through the dishwasher, so I started alternating handwashing and dishwasher for the lid... and now it seems to fit just fine again. We've only been using this blender for several months, so I'm not completely sure on the durability just yet, but from what I can tell, it should hold up pretty well.
