The Bottom Line "This sh!t is bananas B-A-N-A-N-A-S!"
It's been a few months since I've really written much on Epinions, so I figured I'd write a paragraph or two letting you all know what's been going on with me. :)
First off, I finally made the decision to leave my husband once and for all. It's something I've been wanting to do for a couple years now, but I stuck it out with him while he worked out his "issues". Once he got things worked out I figured he could make it on his own, and I deciced to finally live life for myself and not someone else. It's been over 2 months now, and I've never been happier.
I moved into downtown Seattle and I love it here! I'm going to have to move back to San Diego in a year with the Navy, and I'm going to be so sad!
Other than being in the Navy, I have a second job which takes up most of my weekends, and I got to school two nights a week. Speaking of the Navy, they sent me on a few special assignments the past few months, so that also took up a lot of extra time.
I still manage to go to the gym 3-4 times a week, so you can imagine that I really have very little time to eat, breathe or sleep, much less write much for fun.
I have had tons of reviews (music and beauty) formulating through my head, but I just can seem to get them onto paper (well, Word).
Some music that I'm into lately is The Killers, Modest Mouse, Gwen Stefani (I'm a little late catching onto this one!), and I'm super psyched that Audioslave will be coming out with a new album. The new NIN single rocks as well. I can never get tired of "Collide" by Howie Day, and Joss Stone frequents my stereo often. I keep wondering when the heck Fiona Apple is going to release another album, and am mildly curious about the new 3 Doors Down. I love "Club Foot" from Kasabian, and want to check them out soon. Still don't get the hype about Franz Ferdinand, and my roomMate gets me dancing to the Scissor Sisters. Liking the song by Natalie "Going Crazy"...we'll see if she goes anywhere.
Basically I've been working hard, and playing hard...finally getting the chance to go out and party and actually act 22. I'll still try to write when I can, and catch a few epinions by my favorite writers, but I have too much of a life to be on here all the time anymore!
I don't know about you all, but I can't wait til spring/summer!
