Google search and weekend sale prompted me to place an order. So far, as expected.

Ordered (3) Bamix Deluxe immersion blenders and some Mikasa closeout dinnerware. The Bamix deluxe version includes a video and a grinding attachment for spices, coffee and cheese. Two Bamix were bought as gifts and one as a replacement for an early ThunderStick made in Italy which I used for several years. The design was similar to the Bamix but the motor was not as powerful and finally burnt out. Used it primarily to make smoothies (using crushed ice) almost every day, pureeing carrot soup on the stove and whipping cream or powdered or skim milk. It's easy to clean by turning it on in soapy water and then doing the same in plain water. I kept it out on the counter. A replacement ThunderStick made in China with a two part design didn't last a year. Saw the Bamix version at a home show and a friend has one. I expect to use the grinding attachment for blending spices as demoed. Found iKitchen using a Google search for the Mikasa closeout dinnerware. A weekend sale prompted me to place an order. The order process was straight forward. Expected ground delivery is three days. If there had been a way to split the order, I would have had the two gift items shipped directly.
