Roller Coaster Tycoon is an absolutely brilliant game written by Chris Sawyer. There are almost no flaws.. it works on most systems, doesn't have too many glitches and gives you one hell of a time..
Let's get things straightened out. If you want brilliant graphics or fast furious gameplay, this is not for you. This is a totally different type of game..different from even your regular strategy games. The main objective of the game is to build a theme park, run it in such a way that you make a lot of profit, get a great number of visitors,etc,etc and finally achieve certain given feats. While running the park, you can read guests' opinions on your prices, on your rides and so on. You can also have advertising campaigns for certain rides, provide free coupons for food,etc..

The game is really nice as far as the AI (not exactly AI) goes. The guests' thoughts are consistent and make sense most of the time..In fact I haven't noticed any glitches at all. There are also many many levels. You can also research into various areas of development and hence be able to implement new rides,etc..

Few of the rides in the game are :
1. Go-Karting
2. Many many types of rollercoasters,etc
3. Water rides
4. Other rides which you would find at disney world or any other place..

All in all, Roller Coaster Tycoon is a great game which lets you do what you can't in REAL Life. Great fun. Get the game.
