Once my daughter had outgrown her infant car seat, I set out in search for the Britax Regent http://www.epinions.com/content_424111410820 for her at the best price. I knew how expensive these seats can be and how bulky so I was searching for a low price with free shipping. This item was not available locally at all! I expected to find it and buy it at amazon.comhttp://www.epinions.com/content_431518224004 but they were out of stock of the cougar pattern that I wanted. So I went to my next favorite spot to bargain shop, Ebay http://www.epinions.com/content_431558004356. I am always a little nervous about buying on Ebay when it comes to car seats as I need to know that the car seat is brand new and safe for my child. But I looked anyway. Shipping was not free but the prices looked pretty good. Then I googled and searched for other online stores to compare prices. That is how I found babyage.com. After noting all the prices and seeing the Babyage had free shipping on this car seat, I went with it. Not without a little trepedation as I knew nothing of this online retailer.
The price I paid for the Britax Regent was $60 less than anywhere else and had free shipping. When you look at items on this site, you will see tabs you can click for more information. Like for shipping, it tells the weight of the item but also recommends other car seats you might like. Now they have a flat rate shipping of $7.95 for your entire order. Some of the online stores did not have the style of cover I wanted but Babyage had all of the styles in stock. My order shipped out the next day and was received within a week. The car seat was in perfect condition but the box was abused. The box looked like the delivery guy had bounced it up the steps and stomped on it a few times. Dirty, bashed in some places, and knocked around. I was amazed that the car seat was not harmed. Not a scratch or dent or anything wrong with it.
