The perfect getaway, or camping for the spoiled couples.

Pros:Great location. Classy, not uptight. Friendly, customer oriented service. Great getaway.
Cons:Absolutely none.
The Bottom Line: I recommend it to everybody. The service is great, the location is outstanding. You can also bring your car.

Undeniably, I am a city girl. So it not a big surprise that during my five year tenure at RIT in Rochester, NY, I craved the metropolis like a smoker craves his morning cigarette. The closest city being Toronto, only two and a half hours away, it became a staple weekend shopping and recreational getaway.
When we first started dating, my boyfriend took me to Toronto for my birthday. That was the first time I stepped in to the Park-Hyatt right off Bloor Street. I fell in love instantly. We stayed in the executive suite, which was a bit more expansive than others, but not outrageously so. Everything was perfect, down to the Aveda products in the bathroom. One also cannot forget about the location. We had a wonderful view of Bloor Street and all my favorite stores from our room window. The hotel is also located right on the border of the trendy Yorkville area, and all the hot night and dinning spots are in a five-minute walking distance. Needless to say, my boyfriend and I had a great time. We still remember that night in Toronto as magical, and Hyatt was a very big part of that magic. We came back to the Park-Hyatt several times during the past two and a half years, trying to recreate that magic. And the Hyatt has never let us down. We stayed in a variety of rooms, from the cheaper to the more expansive ones, yet, the atmosphere and the service did not vary with the price. In fact, we got a room at the last minute once, without reservations, by simply walking in. The staff is very accommodating, friendly and not stuffy at all, despite the decor and the clientele. And, do not laugh; I will only use the bathroom in the Hyatt's lobby if I am out shopping, even if I am not staying there. Things like that are very important to a woman. The staff will also be glad to give out directions and advice starting with the list of phone numbers down to the best places to eat and shop, to any non-guests. To me that is the epitome of the customer service.
