The Nomad II MG is very small and thin. Its just about the length of my pointer finger and is just as thick as an ordinary size pen. That is small and packed with a built in 64MB of memory, radio tuner, and an expansion slot for Smart Media up to 128MB. Oh I forgot to mention voice recording built onto the unit as well. The LCD screen is about the size of a nickel. Don't let that fool you to think that must stink, a tinny little screen. To tell you the truth, it is big enough to tell you basic information such as, battery life, track name and number, running time, repeat, etc. You also get a really cool docking station that recharges the INCLUDED battery. The 64MB of memory can store about 2 hours of music that's about 15-17 songs max, depending upon the file size. You can also set your favorite radio stations from the FM tuner. It is also possible to record a song off the radio feature. You can also save about 2 hours of verbal recordings from the mic. Normally this unit is about $350, it also hard to find the one I have which is Blue. Yes Creative did make Blue Nomad II's. You can find them on Ebay for a lot less which is what I did. You might even be able to get yourself a good deal too. Oh I completely for got about the software. Ok here we go, it is easy to use. Those of you who have the new sound blaster Audigy, you have it easy. You have the newest version of the nomad software. Just install the drivers. Those of you who don't just do a complete install. Other that that its simple to use, you may not even need to consult the manual. I think that is it, I hope I didn't miss anything.
