We purchased this vacuum for around $70. We had to put it together, which took only a few minutes (only a screwdriver was needed).
We had the Boss Plus model. It has a hard plastic canister for the bag, and is pretty much entirely plastic. It is light weight enough to take upstairs.
The vacuum has worked well for the last year, but is now stinky, and makes a whining noise. We replaced the belt, and it still is having problems.
We're ready to give up on it, but feel that it served us well (we have a two-story and vacuum a lot).
