Finally, a good quality 17" monitor at a reasonable price. I've been waiting to upgrade our little 14", but not that we have the DVD-Rom, it was impossible not to upgrade. After reading several reviews, I decided on the Samsung, with it's crisp clear picture quality and reasonable price.

The Samsung 755DF uses the DynaFlat tube technology which delivers very crisp pictures. There is a slight distortion at the very top edge, but only if you concentrate very carefully to look for it. We watched a 2-hour DVD movie on this monitor and thoroughly enjoyed it. The colors and shades were rich and continuous compared to our old small monitor. Because clarity is very important to me, I stayed with a smaller monitor, but now this one really fits the bill.

The control buttons on the front of the screen on very easy to use. You can adjust Contrast, V-Linearity, and Color Temperature. Especially nice is the lock-feature so that you don't accidentally change all your settings.

The Samsung comes with a 3-year warranty parts and labor, so you really can't beat this quality and price.
