For her, or for me? ;) Season one I think I was mostly rooting for Jack and Kate, but I kept waffling in season two and have swung over to the Sawyer side for the past couple of seasons, I think. But I'm starting to think that she's never going to be able to have a really satisfying relationship with either of them because she can't let the other one go - and that Jack and Sawyer both deserve someone who's a little less fickle...

(As for me, I've been carrying a torch for Desmond for three seasons and Charlie and Hurley for four; if I had to whittle it down to one, though, I think I'd have to go with Hurley. :) )

Ross is the old flame, isn't he? I find him quite forgettable and it annoys me that he keeps showing up when we least expect it. He feels like he should be wearing a t-shirt that reads "plot device." :-)

For whatever the female perspective is worth, I say any sane woman would snap up Norman in a second!

My theory, backed up by nothing, is that Hannah will wind up with the old flame. But I hope it's Norman.

Ha! Hadn't made the LOST connection, but it's a good one. Hannah's ambivalence really is driving me a bit crazy at this point in the series. And to make it even worse, every once in a while the author brings in a third guy (an old flame) who I can't stand, just to shake things up. She did it at the end of this one too. Sigh....

And yeah, Kate really needs to decide who she loves and stick with it. Who would you choose? ;-)

I haven't read these books - which sounds like fun - but your description of Hannah in her love life reminds me so much of Kate on LOST. I'm starting to get whiplash from her bouncing back and forth between Jack and Sawyer... :-P Anyway, great review!

Ah, but it can be done! Cookies can be made with relatively healthy ingredients and still taste wonderful. Not that I mind her yummy comfort-food recipes a bit, mind you. I just think Hannah ought to branch out a little, especially since she keeps complaining about her weight. :-)

Why would the owner of a cookie shop make some healthy recipes? :)
