I had bought two cell phones off of Ebay a while back and had never heard of Square Trade up to then. I purchased the warranty coverage on the two phones basically because it was so inexpensive I figured that even if I never used the coverage it was cheap enough for throw away money. I had to use the coverage on one of the phones within a few months of purchase and was so impressed with the speed and courtesy that the staff at Square Trade exhibited in honoring the coverage that I have since purchased 6 or 8 more warranties from them on items I have bought off of Ebay as well as other items I purchased from brick and mortar stores like best buy. I bought a PS3 for Christmas for my kids and passed on the approximate $200 policy they offered me and bought the coverage from Square Trade for I think about $65-$70. I am very pleased with Square Trade and tell friends and family about them all the time. I would suggest Square Trade to anyone without the slightest hesitation on my part. Since that first phone failed I had to use the coverage I bought on the other phone from ebay and got the same level of service and courtesy as I did on the first phone. I was honestly shocked to see a company do what they say they do so simply and so efficiently. There were no hoops to jump through, it really was a pleasure. The piece of mind that comes with having a affordable warranty is huge. In the past I more often than not would decline extended warranties after thinking about the pricing of those coverages compared to the purchase price of any given item. Now I do not hesitate to get Square Trade coverage for most all of the electronic items I purchase.
