I just got my white Honda CRV EXL just over 2 weeks ago (June 08). I have just loved driving it!. I paid $24,400.

I chose the Honda CRV over the Rave4 just because I have owned Honda in the past and loved them. Nothing wrong with Toyota , Honda just felt like a broken in shoe ...comfortable.

Transaction was easy with Honda. I had contacted them via the internet and communicated by phone prior to going in. We worked price and everything over the phone and set a date and time for the transaction. I showed up at 915am and was driving off the lot at 940am. I think thats fast. We spent about 15 min signing papers. The last few minutes they spent familarizing me with the vehicle before I drove off the lot.

I chose the EXL model where it has body colored door handles, mirrors, and bumpers. I have owned Hondas in the past and the black trim would turn grey with time. I think the trim being body colored and not turning grey keeps the vehicle looking sharp.

I am able to transport 5 adults. 2 up front and 3 in the rear. The rear can carry 2 large adults and 1 smaller to a quick destination such as to dinner or to visit someone. But they told me that it wouldnt be comfortable with the 3 of them in the rear for a trip. So I would suggest only 2 up front and 2 in the rear for a trip.

In previous reviews I had read the engine is lacking and doesnt have the get up and go. But with 5 adults it was fine for me. Though i am no speed deamon.

I have been getting 24 MPG in the city and 31 on the interstate (approx speed 75 MPH).

The rear cargo area holds lots! I have the cargo shelf which seems to double my capacity. I can take it out for larger items to go in.

The vehicle drives great and turns tight. Easy Uturns.

I enjoy the sunroof. I had on in my previous Civic and didnt think I would miss it. I enjoy opening it on the way to work and on the way home in the evenings. I like being able to close the glass and leaving the sun thingy open to let in natural light.

I like the open area on the floor between the front seats to put my purse. Also there is no hump on the floor in the back seat area (nice for the person sitting in the middle).

Other items/features I like: blue dash display, dual air controls, heated seats, 6 disc cd, stereo and cruise controls on steering wheel, outside temperature reading, ipod hookup, no remote key fob for unlocking/locking...its on the key itself.

Insurance prices I know depend on so many factors but... swapping this vehichle in only raised my insurance $38 every 6 months. I went from a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee to a NEW Honda CRV for only $6 more a month. :)

The only thing I hate are high gas prices (which Honda cant control) and that I have a vehicle payment again.
