Bang For The Buck
Pros:Fun, Clean, action packed, great graphics
Cons:It still a comic book character, hard to make look real.
The Bottom Line: Great movie, fun for adults and my 14 year old son loved it. I recommend this movie and really enjoyed it!
When I saw the first Hulk movie, I thought how cheesy. Then going to the theater with little hope, I was surprised. Wow, they took a neat comic book character and made it a bit more real then the last CGI joke of the last movie.
The movie is fun and entertaining, I especially like the way Ed Norton (Mr. Banner) is living and working in Brazil. I like the infusion it gave to former Hulk Bill Bixby. As Ed is watching TV, he turns the channel and you see Bill Bixby (Courtship of Eddies Father). Then later we find Lou Ferrigno as a Cop/Security Guard.
Mr. Banner (computer code name Mr. Green) is seen typing a computer, seeking data from a Mr. Blue. He is trying to find out how to be cured from gamma poisoning.
Mr. Banner is a worker in a soda pop plant, and working as a maintenance man. He is called by the plant manager to fix a switch that controls the automated bottling machine. Soon Mr. Banner hurts his hand, and we see a drop of blood falling toward the bottles.
Mr. Banner runs fast, and shout for them to stop the system as he finds the bottle with blood on it. He doesn't notice that another bottle has blood in it and it gets filled and sent off to USA.
The bottle ends up in USA and a man discovers it by drinking it. The Military is notified and they figure out Mr. Banner is in Brazil. They bring in a top military man to get Mr. Banner. As they arrive in Brazil, they surprise Mr. Banner and he turns to the Hulk.
The fight is great and the action is fun. I like the way the Hulk picks up a fork lift and throws it. The chase starts and only gets better. I'll stop here, but you got to see the rest. Fun, good, and well filmed.
