I placed an order with Aromaleigh after reading lots of reviews of their products on Makeup Alley in Productville. Tons of thumbs up from the ladies there gave me confidence that this foundation would meet my needs for mineral foundation. I'm so glad that I placed an order.
I'm used to slightly shiny mineral foundations such as Bare Escentuals. Some people (like myself) are sensitive to product like this 'cause of an ingredient called bismuth. It makes you feel itchy and prickly. There's lots of companies making foundations without this ingredient, and Aromaleigh is one of them. Aromaleigh is special because they make such a huge range of foundation colors, and they have two formulas.
Aromaleigh also is weighted heavily towards very pale foundation shades, something which, if you are pale, is very hard to find. Most companies do not make foundations this light!
I easily found the foundation products on the Aromaleigh website, which is organized into sections by eyes, face, cheeks, lips, etc... Within each section you can choose your product and then select samples or full sizes, see large product swatches, read product information, ingredients and read color descriptions. Aromaleigh provides tons of information about their products.
If you are a Bare Escentuals user, they also have a chart which gives you a general guide to what your Aromaleigh shades might be based on what Bare esscentuals shades you wear. Very handy to use.
I ordered samples my first order and they arrived quickly. I received four free samples too, as well as free shipping.
After a few days of trying samples I found a shade that I liked and returned to buy a full sized jar and discovered that the product was part of Aromaleigh's weekly sales. They put different products on sale every week. So I got it at 25% off. Not only is the product way more reasonable than what I used before, butI got it at 25% off, too!
I really like this company and I read the company's blog and subscribe to their specials newsletter to learn about new products and coupons. The owner posts about all kinds of beauty stuff, new product developments, special offers, and posts pictures of customers wearing the makeup. I also really liked to learn that this company donates to causes like Heifer.org and gives to elementary schools through Donors Choose.com.
This is a small, woman owned company and it is obvious that everything is done with much care and TLC. I am grateful for a high quality, reasonably priced product that I can wear and receive without hassle.
