Aromaleigh Mineral Makeup makes makeup fun. I'm wearing colors I never dreamed I would wear (or look good in for that matter) thanks to the friendly, helpful members of the online forum hosted by this company. Users of the product post questions and experiences about different products, and different looks showing all the different colors they got with their orders. It is so much fun to check in and see what women of all different age groups, coloring, backgrounds and styles are wearing.
Aromaleigh eyeshadows have made me feel confident about myself and I've crawled out of the "makeup box" and started to wear more daring combinations. I get many compliments from friends and coworkers. This is what wearing makeup should be! A boost to your confidence!
And that's just the cherry on the sundae for me.
Dealing with this company and shopping on their website is creme de la creme. I give it THREE scoops!
I once posted on the forum asking the other ladies if my order might be late, and the owner of the company looked up my forum name, cross checked it with my email address on the store orders to get my order number and got my tracking number, and let me know the results! WOW, that was service! I felt like I had received special white glove treatment. This is a small family owned company and this was above and beyond the call of duty. At other times I have gotten a free extra sample or lip balm in my order- ON TOP OF the freebies the website and coupon offers already give you. Aromaleigh is so generous with the goodies they give to us girls.
Aromaleigh's website is a Yahoo store, and this equals a very smooth and secure shopping experience. The site never goes down, hiccups, burps or goes blank. It's always there. Orders always get submitted for me (and I've placed about ten this year alone). I hate when I shop online and my order doesn't got through at the checkout phase.
Emails to Aromaleigh customer service get answered quickly, often even on evenings and weekends. I've had emails answered late at night. I had an email answered on a Saturday. I never doubt that I can get in touch with Aromaleigh, either by email or on the forum or the company blog- if I have a question about anything. The community and communication framework this little company has set up is astounding, even though they do NOT take phone calls. Everything is done by email, forum or blog. No telephone. This is fine with me, although I know some have issues with not being able to call. As long as I get timely responses I am more than happy with email. I prefer email, actually.
Sales are frequent and discounts generous, and coupon codes work, although you have to carefully read the instructions for each code. As long as you do that, you are golden.
Shipping rates are very reasonable, I feel. Samples ship for free. USPS priority mail shipping is offered. If you want to spend more, you can go with UPS and get a tracking number with delivery date. There is a free shipping coupon if you spend $75.
The owner of the company blogs frequently and is on the company forum often. She is very involved running her company and it is obvious that she loves what she does. She appears to be a very passionate creative person and has been running her company for a long time, she says this is their tenth year and has been running special sales and features all year to celebrate this anniversary.
Reading reviews here on epinions I am surprised at the nature of the personal attacks made against this company owner- aren't we supposed to be reviewing the store and products and purchase experience, not the owner of the company? It appears that she has made some enemies in some angered customers who did not get their way or who did not hear what they wanted to hear from her staff.
From what I have read on the Aromaleigh website, forum, blog and beauty forums like makeup talk, there is a lot of beauty bashing of all cosmetic companies. It's sad but true, but all reviews are not unbiased.
You have to do your own research. I'm thankful that I did and did not believe the naysayers. If I did, I would not have fallen in love with companies like Aromaleigh, Lumiere and Fyrrinae!
