We ordered a Chicco Travel System from them after being hooked by the prospect of not paying shipping. This turned into a NIGHTMARE!
When I ordered off their website, I selected the color I wanted from a drop-down menu, double checked it, then proceeded. Somehow in the process of ordering, the drop-down menu defaulted to the first selection available, not the color I ordered. I should have checked the invoice they emailed and confirmed the color, because they shipped us the wrong color.
I checked into their exchange/refund policy and learned that we were to absorb the shipping/handling costs, since the mistake was not clearly theirs. Fine. Whatever. I take it to UPS and learn that we are going to be charged $144 to return this box.
I called Healthcheck to get a call tag at the recommendation of UPS and several local businesses. I offer to pay them back for the cost of return shipping. All I get is rude New Yorker attitude from them (it's your fault, you're S.O.L.). Plus, we learn that we will be charged with a re-stocking fee. BEWARE: THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEE WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL SCREW YOU IF THEY GET THE CHANCE.
We could not afford to lose so much money on the return, we decided to buy the color we wanted from another company, and are trying to sell the other ourselves.
