I purchased two slipcovers to protect my sofa. Since there was a supposed money back guarantee, I thought that my purchase would be protected. I should have read the very, very fine print!!
When I receive the package, I took it out of the box and put in on my sofas. After about 24 hours, I just had a change of heart and couldn't convince myself that they looked right. It just didn't work for me. The cushions were bunched up and I was fearful that the seams or zippers were going to break. The color just wasn't what I was looking for and the twill cotton just attracted everything to it. It was like having a Swiffer cloth as a slipcover.
The day after, I decided to return the slipcovers and began to package it carefully back into the package. This is nearly impossible since everything fit into this tiny plastic zipper case. I began to file the process online to return the slipcover. They mailed me a UPS ship label, but I was responsible for paying the $30< shipping fee.
After a few days, I received a postcard from them. I was thinking great, my return has been processed. I was so wrong. It was basically a postcard to let me know that my return was DENIED! My money would not be returned back to me. As a result, I would be out the $200 I paid for this. Not to mention the $30 shipping costs to have it shipped to me and the $30 shipping costs to have it shipped back to them for my return. Let's do the math: $200+$30+$30=$260. To add insult to injury, they said if I wanted to withdraw my return request, I could have this shipped BACK to me! What??!! Are you kidding me?! An additional $30 to have something that I didn't want or like? I already wasted $260 on this slipcover and want to make sure that others are warned. Buyer beware!!!
I even tried to speak to their customer service person who sounded hopeful. I asked her why my return request was denied. She told me that they found pet hair on my slipcover. As a result, it voids out the return policy. To my defense, I have maltese that barely sheds since they do not have an undercoat and are hypo-allergenic. In fact, I think that I shed even more than my dog. Before I shipped it out, I even took a roller brush to it and may have missed 1 hair. They weren't budging and I am out $260. I am sooooo not happy with them and want to make sure that others do not go through what I went through.
