Update::::: I recently had the ladies at the highway patrol carseat safety clinic check the seat out and they were very impressed. They liked how nice and snug the seat fits and how easy it was to install!!!!


I haven't written a review in quite a while so I am kind of rusty but here it goes. I had been waiting for the Britax Elite but it doesn't seem to be coming any time soon. Then I was surfing on ebay and saw this seat. I went on the Britax website and read all about it. I was impressed so I bid on it. When I finally got the seat I looked at it and was kind of confused. I finally got it out to the car and installed it. How easy was that. On my other car seat I had to purchase a mighty tight car seat tightener but with the britax I don't need it. The best part of this seat for me is the recline mechanism. On the britax freeway you have to take the belt off to recline the seat and then reinstall the seat! With the king you just reach and it gently reclines with ease. A life saver when you are dealing with a sleeping baby. There is a few things about the seat that I don't like and that is it doesn't sit as high off the seat as the freeway and roundabout. But my son doesn't seem to mind. The color pad is not the color I wanted but i'm sure Britax will be making different covers soon. Also there is only a few places right now that even carry the seat.
