Virtually His - Action, Romance, Suspense!!!

Written: Jul 07 '08 (Updated Jul 08 '08)
Pros:Fast read, action, incredible writing!!!
Cons:Part 1 of 2....must get the second book to find out the rest.
The Bottom Line: Must read! The virtual reality, mind games, seduction, action and danger are close enough to qualify for ADDICTION!

Virtually His by Gennita Low is a fast paced thrilling adventure ride into the realm of the super secret soldier spy virtual world! Swallow all of that as you turn the pages of the life of one hell on wheels heroine, Helen Roston. Helen has been through enough specialized training to kick the you know what out of pretty much any adversary in the fiction world.

The Scoop!

Helen Roston is now completing her training in a special top secret program sponsored by numerous agencies. She is the winning candidate beating out all others with her strength, her skill, her psychic intuition that gives her an extra edge over the others. An orphan who learned to be independent on the streets, Helen, nicknamed "HELL" by friends and co-workers alike, is the kind of woman we would all like to be. Sexy, strong, competitive, driven and successful. Devoting her time and her life to a contract for this special project, she is training to be a virtual soldier spy... where she can enter places through remote viewing with the power of her mind and a new experimental drug serem to retrieve data and information that provides the edge needed over enemies.

Romance and Sizzling chemistry!!!Turn the air conditioner on because this book puts out enough hot steamy sizzle to fry an egg all on its own. Whew! Helen has met her match... another super soldier spy... and he is going to be her guide in the virtual realm as she progresses through the remaining levels and tests in the training. In the mind games they start to play begins a careful and skillful seduction of Helen... and then Helen's seduction of her trainer as well. In virtual reality they can break all the rules, push the boundaries as they race through each segment of her training... and push each other to dangerous (hot!) limits within the bounds of virtual reality.

Who is her sexy trainer?
Number One: (Their code names during assignments) ALEX DIAMOND. Sparks fly between Alex and Hell's trainer, "T" but his mystery and sex appeal are enough to keep any woman's heart pumping. Is it possible, that elusive Alex is the trainer?

Number Four: Shahrukh Kingsley. Big swimmer guy joins Hell routinely for her naked swimming laps... silent but lots of lethally sexual eye contact has her intrigued, is he the one?

Number Five: Michael "Flyboy" Hunter. Carefree playboy always has a smile, a wink and the right lines. But he can also turn that side off and switch to the serious intensity that could draw a woman in. Is he the one?

Number Six: Armando Chang. Has gone thru the experimental serum and come out a changed man... with a taste for illusions and mystery he could very well qualify with his experiences alone to be her hot trainer.

Number Seven: Jack "Grant" Sullivan. Quiet, all american appeal, looks like a football player. Hell hasn't had much contact with him... is there a reason for that?

Number Eight: Heath Cliffe. Skillful seductive massager and talker, if Heath handles his lines just right... will he reveal too much?

Number Nine: Jed McNeal. Hmmm...Silver eyes and damn sexy... all of Hell's internal signals scream "danger!"

I'm not revealing any secrets...but I can say I'm looking for the rest of this story.

Action, Suspense, Danger! In virtual reality, Helen must prove to herself, her team and all the agencies overseeing the project that she can locate the target and then later, retrieve that same target in real life. But someone else has their own agenda and their own virtual reality program... and they want the target as well. What happens when the two soldiers connect in virtual reality is just the beginning of this twisted tale... and I can't give away too much more than that. Far more futuristic in technology, the concepts involved are realistic enough to be believable and dangerously exciting for the reader!

The writing I just adore this writer. Never having read any of her work before, I am in the process of searching out the book to find out what happens next, Virtually Hers. I felt her characters... was so disappointed to read that final page and not see
Helen sitting next to me. With all these super soldier qualities Helen posseses, she was also genuine... not a cold, harsh cut off from the real world character. Helen was was written in such a loving way, I felt her with me all the way through the book. (I know, I know... someday I must get a life!) Every now and then, you find a writer that seems to have this gift of bringing their characters to life in such a way that they work their way into your hearts... and this Gennita Low accomplished in mere pages. Her imagery, her imagination and her depth just astonishes me and I do not write these compliments lightly.
I also liked that in the beginning of the novel, Ms. Low gives a brief overview of the remote viewing project and the status according to the CIA and the American Institute for Research. (A website too for more information.)
