I found that getting a hat in Movies increased my IS in all categries tenfold. I actually earn more in Games than movies on average, and Computer Hardware & Electronics are pretty good too, though I don't write in them very often. Where it comes to money, Books are probably the worst on the site (unless you're reviewing either The Da Vinci Code, Harry Potter, or The South Beach Diet!!
"There is definitely something special about sharing our personal experiences of the arts." - absolutely, couldn't agree with you more.
Nice write-up and you surprised me a little by not mentioning beer! :-D
Thanks for the entry,

Hey Deb,
I get more IS in seven or eight categories where I do not have a hat. The fact is I get my lowest average IS in the category where I have had hats the longest, Travel.
Much of my "success" in Computer, Electronics, and Home and Garden was just having the luck to write about products people are interested in.
I'll save my money on the Heinekens and get a six pack of Yuengling.
Thanks for reading and rating and commenting. Your words are always appreciated.
I'm sure the graduation party went well.
Best,
Phil

YOUR Income Share! (Reply to this comment)

My goodness, Phil! Your stats are amazing! I get plenty of outside readers on my reviews, but really nothing in income share. I guess that the hats help in that area. My highest IS review was on my dishwasher review. I have a whole kitchen of new appliances, and I really should write more there.
Good for you! You can now afford those Heinekins!
(Spelling!)
My best,
Deb~
