Vikings (Reply to this comment)
by ddustyrose
is a word that brings back memories of a cruise I took with some friends back in 2001.
I was visiting my friend, Kate, and her husband, Frank, in Scotland for 6 weeks. One of our adventure's included a cruise to Norway (not one of our better choices due to being on the North Sea where it's cold).
We're checking out cabin and notice we don't have hot water so we call for help. A huge man comes, Kate explains our problem as I generally keep my southern mouth shut (as an American, I've found out during my travels I don't speak English very well--they understand me, but I don't understand them), and in his booming voice he says, "Ve're Vikings, ve take cold baths."
Kate says to him, "Ve're vemmin, ve're vimps, ve vant hot baths!"
Ve get got baths!

Yes! I've been following Jim Dutcher's work and career for many years. He's terrific, and the filming is always so wonderful.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a note!

It was on last month or so about Jamie and Jim Dutcher creators of the Emmy-winning Wolves at Our Door who spent six years in a tented camp in the wilderness of Idaho, living with a pack of wolves, listening to them and earning their trust.
It was amazing!!!!
If you haven't seen it the above URL goes to the DISCOVERY CHANNEL WEB SITE and DVD of the show.......

Hi Melissa!
As a matter of fact, I envy you for still having a toddler around the house. I miss those days! When my son was just three, he used to take everything apart to see how it worked. Now at 23, he still does that. :-))
Feel free to drop me a line if he can give you any advice with your E320!
Smiles!

Hi Claire,
I envy you! My son is only three, and try as he might, he's absolutely useless when I have trouble with my E320 Wagon. We should swap kids occasionally.

Elephants are one of the most intelligent animals on the earth. (Often much more so than humans. :-)) You have chosen a very noble animal!
Thanks for stopping by, Lorace!

Not really, I have always liked Doc. She's a lot of fun. Never met in person, just here at Epinions. Ummm, Wolfypoo? I would protect you too, if you ever need help. So rest easy, my fair damsel.
