Wow. Antique candy. I'll have to check that out.
And the Mallo Cups are still around? Well, it just goes to show you to what lengths my old world history teacher, Miss Abigail Beecher, would go to actually MISLEAD us about the history of the end of the cold war. I'm shawked, shawked I tell you- to learn that what she taught us might have been less than truthful. All her fault, of course, rest her soul. But it's good to know the marshmellow candies are still around. I'll check out the URL.
Glad we solved the mystery for you.

Marshmallow shortage never heard about it. Oh wait you were pulling my leg, ha, ha, nice job, you had me there for a minute. Anyway they are still making Mallo Cups after all, I found this website that sells them and over 200 different candies from the 50's on a box of 24 2 cup packs is $17.99:

Ron-
Mellow Cups were a great treat, but they were pulled from marketing in the 80's because of the Great Marshmellow Shortage--- I know you were young then and probably didn't know this little-known fact of world history, but in the waning days of the cold war the (then) East Germans were using up the world supply of marshmellows trying to keep the Berlin Wall stuck together. Anyway, the Reese Cup folks, mellow people though they were, were out-marshed by the demand, and stayed with the Original Cup. Thus we lost a great icon of chocolatology. But the world was saved. Small sacrifice to pay for a world where we can watch Bush and Putin toodle around Red Square in Putin's old white Bubushka-mobile, don't ya think?
Now if you believe that, I've got for sale some nice Arizona oceanfront property...
As to the pizza thing..."P-p-p-POW!!!" You are right. They cannot be denied."

Speaking of Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, have you ever tried Mellow Cups. I have not been able to find them anywhere for about 20 years or so. I wonder if they stopped making them or not. They were a Chocolate Candy shaped like Reeses but they had marshmallow in side. Mellow Cups was one of the very first candy items I got hooked on as a kid for 2 reasons. One is I loved the taste and two each pack had Mellow Cup points inside to save up for great prizes you could send away for which I did a few times.
I bet you cant say that Pizza product, the whole phrase out loud, 5 times without spraying?

Thanks, Roman. I'm afraid I'd need more than a "paramedic toy" if I had a 4000-calorie meal. More like a flatbed 18-wheel truck to carry me home.

I should stop reading these, my stomach is beginning to eat itself. Isn't a single meal at outback enough for a week's worth of nutrition? Seems that way, I know Claim Jumper has a 4000 calorie meal, comes with your own paramedic toy.
Good list, thanks for sharing,
Roman
