As a designer, I am always looking for great sites to help my clients save when they can. Overstock.com is a real hit or miss and the old saying of "you get what you pay for" really applies here. I ordered a runner for my own home and was happy with what I received. I knew the manufacturer and therefore the quality. A client ordered two rugs and the quality wasn't worth the cost. I ordered a french style arm chair and was surprised when it showed up in pieces and I had to assemble it. I went back to the website and no where did it list that this product required assembly. Sometimes a little leg work online first then trying to find it locally even if it is a little more is far better than receiving then returning a subpar product! It is great to know that the delivery cost is a flat fee. With the ever increasing gas prices, who knows if they will be able to continue this or just add the cost on to the product. Delivery was timely but returning the two rugs my client purchased and regretted took some time and she incurred additional costs. Overall -Overstock.com can be great if you are product/manufacturer savvy!
