I always get my cats mixed up (tame and wild) so who knows who has said it first?

Better Than Sex!!! (Reply to this comment)
by AinsleyJo
There are definitely times when food is better than sex--and times when it IS sex!!! LOL

As in now when my tastebuds are having multiple orgasms just from reading this!

Happy Eating!
AJ :o)

P.S. "Suffering succotach!" came from Snaglepuss--as in "Exit! Stage left!"

We certainly seem to have the same tastes in food--but how on earth were you able to narrow it down even THIS much!?!

by JAGUARDOG
No fair you can get all that stuff in New York still. I lived in Upstate New York in the 1960's. I was almost going to order a box of Mallow cups off the Internet but the price with shipping is a little too high for me. Send me down a couple buddy?

Hello again Marcy. It just so happens that I went shopping with my wife this past Monday and found a place that carries Sky Bars and I bought some.

Sky Bar! (Reply to this comment)
by craftswoman
MMmmmmm Sky Bar! I used to love those things! I can still get Necco's at my supermarket. They come in a bigger package now. And Chuckles, they're still around. I bought some somewhere not too long ago. I think they were smaller though than they used to be. My favorite was the black one and then the red. I had a friend (not from this country)who called them "coo-kles." lol

Re: Hello!! - It's like this (Reply to this comment)
by JAGUARDOG
It is almost like Pancakes or Waffles type dish. It is very thick Bread slices about the thickness of 3 regular slices of Bread. It is then cooked on top of a burner or in an over and when finished you add some powdered sugar and syrup and eat up.

You like a lot of great food!! Chinese is my personal favorite, but its a hard choice with Japanese, Indian & Mexican all coming close behind... Oh yes, before I forget, what exactly is "Texas Toast", I've never heard of it before, but it sounds interesting...

Take Care :)

My Word... (Reply to this comment)
by Dionne25
Thank goodness I ate something before I read your list, Ron, otherwise I may have had to try to eat my way through the computer ;o)

Anyhoo, I'm not sure if it's all the pregnancy hormones, but practically everything on your list looked appetizing and mouth-watering. Shame on you for making this pregnant lady salivate (hee-hee.)

Awesome list, Ron. One of these days (after I wipe up all the drool from those who've submitteD) I should have my own list posted. Take care.

I have a recipe I can send anyone who asks. Just leave a comment on my latest review, or I'll try to correct my email address, as I get spam anyway. Might as well publish it.

I Love their Bean Burritos as well! I was disappointed they did away with their green sauce. It made it all worthwhile. Love their cinnamon crispas as well. I probably am quite fond of most/all their food, just too cheap to try it out, even one item at a time. Like the 79 cent bean burritos!

I hope you don't think I was picking on you buddy, just a little fun, no harm, no foul, right?

So you did 2 in-a-row also well thanks, you are right, I don’t feel so bad now. Of course I visited a member’s profile page last week (can’t remember who the NEWBIE was) and they had 10 consecutive W/O’s and didn’t have anything else posted, some nerve, right?

Re: It's your lucky day! - Thanks a Million Missy (Reply to this comment)
by JAGUARDOG
I appreciate that very much and it just so happens I had the very same idea later today. I did a search for old time candy for sale on GOOGLE and found all 5 of them plus many. Many more of my favorites if I want to order them by mail. I clicked on the very first link I found which was http://www.oldtimecandy.com/ and found a whole lot of cool candy from the 50’s through the 80’s like the following:

Anise Squares
Appleheads
Beemans Gum
Bit-O-Honey
Bonomo’s Turkish Taffy
Bottle Caps
Bubble Gum Cigarettes
Canada Mints
Crows
Dots
Flicks
Grapeheads
Horehound Drops
Jawbreakers
Jujubes
Kits
Lik-M-Aid
Long Boys
Marshmallow Ice cream Cones
Mexican Hats
Moon Pies
Necco Wafers
Planter’s Peanut Bars
Red Hot Raspberry Dollars
Root Beer Barrels
Saf-T-Pops
Slo Pokes
Sour Fruit Balls
Spearmint Leaves
Squirrel Nut Zippers Chews
Sugar baby
Sugar Daddy
Swedish Fish
Tootsie Roll Pops
U-No
Valomilk
Wax Bottles
Zero Bars

As well as the 5 I mentioned and oh so many, many more that’s its’ mind boggling. You can buy by the Box or Bag with UPS Ground at $6.95 an order or Free for orders of $50.00 or more. I've added this site as a Favorite Bookmark to vist again.

Ron,

See, I do learn something new each day. You don't like white milk huh? I can't imagine chocolate milk being poured on some Lucky Charms, but hey, we all got our thangs right?? Very interesting and quite a cool list that went above the norm. Oh and by the way, this is my second consecutive W/O as well. Don't feel bad.

Regarding the five items you listed in #27, you CAN still get them. There's a website called www.hometownfavorites.com; I just checked it because I thought I had seen some of those items listed there before. I found everything except for the Mallow Cups. Thought you might like to know about it. ;)
