Jarvococker was really quiet and reserved. I think he may have been a little ... overwhelmed.
Jarvo - man, you gotta speak up and be heard!!!

Sounds like there was a great turn-out at this one! I've always been curious about meeting jarvococker since he's named after one of my favorite singers, so I'm kinda jealous about that one.

Yes, we Epinionators are rather odd... I mean unusual. :)
Here's hoping you can make another one of these sometime... our ships passed in Chicago. But I think from what I've seen of you that I would enjoy getting to know you better.

Hi Paul!
Next meet we have (that I can get to) the after party will defenitely be planned ahead of time and I'll bring maps of how to get there. No more lost Epinionators driving aimlessly through major metropolitan areas!!
'Til next time...

Tell me about it... I just ordered NINE CDGs this morning. My mother in law bought two more for me because I'm about to have a birthday...
Shhh... don't tell Bill!
Anyway, I had to recommend it. Just trying to be a good Epinionator, don'tcha know?

Yup... I've looked at karaoke.com before. *drool, drool, drool* Very cool stuff... and you can buy professional quality sound equipment and karaoke players, and you can buy CDG's by the dozen, and you can get 1000's of songs in those collections, and you can buy all the collections, and then you can sell your house to pay for the therapy you'll need when you become so obsessed that you forget to eat or pee...

Just wanted to say: that's so cool. The Epinions instant-intimacy tonic worked so well that i honestly didn't guess, even once, that you were expecting to feel like an outsider ... or that you should've. It was wonderful sleeping with you, and yeah, i hope we can hang out again sometime.
cheers,

Careful... karaoke is an addictive and expensive habit...
But if you're serious, you might want to check out www.karaoke.com-- The prices are pretty good, the selection is decent, and most of the karaoke discs have sound clips! Some of them have reviews, too!

the sudden but genuine intimacy
Absolutely correct, that's a perfect description. I've never met a group of people I feel more comfortable with, more safe with, more in tune with. That is what family's supposed to feel like and I wish everyone could experience it, even just once. Can't wait to see you and Tarzan-thong boy again soon.

..
One suggestion, perhaps not to you but to anyone/everyone who attends a future 'meet-n-greet'...:
Hang a dang sign up ( use a bar napkin if you have to! ) about any activities, planned or unplanned, afterward..!!
. . .and we pride ourselves in our ability to communicate . . .sheeesh..!
Very nicely said.
