before ordering my healthrider glider i obviously searched the internet to find the best price. mercantila blew everyone else away. free shipping and an online coupon code brought my total to 120.99. healthriders website sells the same thing for 399.99.
i also checked the reviews on mercantila and was horrified! omg, the good reviews were RARE. i also checked the BBB website and it rated them satisfactory and said they were working hard to improve their service. that is really what made me do it. i figured if something went wrong, i would blame the BBB.
so i ordered my rider on sunday night. i got an immediate email with my order info and i link to check my order status. i checked it daily, hoping to see an update or a shipping notification. nothing. i began to get nervous but figured i would really start to worry next week if nothing changed. well today i got home from work (friday) and there sat a big box on my porch. my healthrider!! woo hoo!! kids, that is five days. thrilled is what i am! now the healthrider itself is not the same quality as the one i had bought years and years ago (bummer), but my experience with mercantila has been very positive.
i do think they should update order status pages better. like tonight when i checked my email, mercantila had sent me a email saying my order had shipped today, but rather, it arrived today. no complaints from me really.
maybe they are getting better....
oh, one final thing. i did try to email them before i ordered as i wanted some info about the two different HR gliders they offer. apparently the email/customer service links from their page don't work. the mail was sent back to me undeliverable.
