No engineering and cheap production = this oven

Pros:likely to warm some food
Cons:likely to be dangerous to operate
The Bottom Line: Not safe enough or good enough to even consider

The finish of this toaster looks pretty cheap with its sprayed on logo and flimsy door, housing and tray. This theme continues to all other aspects of the unit.

The control buttons are very cheap and flimsy and it's hard to set to a particular time. It's hard to even tell what mode the oven is in because the selector settings are too close together and on operate on feel.

Upon first using it a large amount of smoke emits from the unit. It has a toxic smell and is enough to set off a smoke detector. It also creaks very loudly indicating no engineering design went into the structure of the oven.

The burner elements are not covered with any protective shield so food can fall on them and ignite. The housing is not properly insulated so it gets very hot. The handle is all metal and gets too hot to touch after using the oven. The power cord is undersized and contains lead.

I could go on but suffice it to say that it is one thing to have a product manufactured in a low cost country and another thing to have it engineered and manufactured in a low cost country. If you care about your family's safety you won't buy this oven.
