Even I, who never buy full price DVD's (wait a while and the price always comes down! :-0), might just get this when it comes out.
Fantastic, wonderful, amazing. The only thing I don't like about this film is that I ran out of superlatives to describe it...

I'm so glad you liked this one after having to wait so long to see it. :)
I loved everything about it too and I know I'll be picking up the DVD. WALL-E expressed more emotion than many of the human characters in other movies. I thought it was so cute - and sweet - when he was trying to impress Eve by showing off pieces of his little collection. Their dance through space was amazing.

...
Wow. What a fanboy review...
Just teasing.
But you did throw me by your use of 'eponymous'. Still have not figured that one out, exactly how it fits there. Maybe I misunderstand the word...
( Though after reading the high source of all knowledge Internet, Wikipedia ...*snicker*, it seems the name WALL-E would be more acronymous than 'eponymous'. Geezus, this is turning into a 'to delete later' comment..!! )
Anyway, lots of nice, subtle touches in this one. Too bad there are already so many good reviews of it here.
Very nicely done.
