Camera addict is a master at bait and switch. They advertised the camera I had been looking for for $269.00 but when I added it to my cart it was $279. I thought it was a clerical error but the price was still good. I ordered a battery charger for $40. I paid another $20 for 2-3 day shipping. The next day "Bert" called to verify my order. He told me a 20 minute battery was included with the camera and advised me to buy a better "two hour" battery, regularly priced at $129 but if purchased with the camera it would cost $69. I told him to cancel the order, it was too pricy. He said there was a special package that included the upgraded battery and an external charger instead of the internal charger that came with the camera. That would cost $339. Reluctantly I bought it. It came today. The camera was packed in a box with original packaging. It included a batter, cables. software, and a charger- all standard equipment. There was no upgraded battery or charger. The invoice includeds an upgraded battery and charger but there is none. The product numbers listed don't match anything on anyones website. The only item I am being charged for is the camera "kit for 319.00 plus the shipping charge. I was lied to, fast talked into buying an upgrade that didn't even exist. My emails have gone unanswered and I was unable to reach customer service by pohone- - No voice mail. DO NOT BUY FROM CAMERAADDICT - dishonest, deceitful. The first time ever that I have had a problem buying anything online.
